| At Henriette Hørlücks School we are well known for our high levels of achievements. We have many international pupils and English is taught from pre-school with French starting in Year 4 and German from Year 6. We have high expectations of our pupils and equally high expectations of our teachers. We do our utmost to make the school look and feel less like an institution; our buildings are impressive and filled with art, antique toys and interesting object d’art. This helps create a homely, but stimulating atmosphere and is one of the reasons why our pupils take care of their school and treat each other with respect. |
Each day begins with an assembly. This is where we sing hymns, children share their work and experiences and where we take the opportunity to explore major pieces of modern and classical music. The school year is punctuated by numerous traditions and shared cultural experiences gained through our many trips. Because of our international background, various national traditions are celebrated throughout the school year. These have been brought to the school by our pupils from abroad or discovered by us on the many international trips that the school has organised over the years. |
