Morgensang (Assembly)

 

There is always an occasion for everyone to gather together which is why we have had morgensang since the school was started in 1870 – even if the content has changed somewhat over that time! At 9:00am the whole school gathers to sing hymns, say the Lord’s Prayer, listen to children share their news, hear contemporary or old pieces of music, celebrate birthdays, watch children perform a play or listen to some of the youngest pupils perform a new song they have learnt. Parents and grandparents are always very welcome to take part in Morgensang.
